SCDAI is working with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on implementing the Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) Access Model for sickle cell disease (CGT). The Access Model aims to provide patient support for those who qualify for Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) via Medicaid.
